Needed a palate cleanser between spooky Stephen King stories. So far the premise is interesting, but the dialogue is pretty clunky. I don't have high hopes for this one...

I've started this book 3 times. It's very jargon heavy, but I'm determined to get further this time.

I shouldn't have slept on this audiobook for so long! I loved the phyisical book, but the audiobook is great.

I should have DNFd. But you know, sunk cost fallacy. I'm almost at the end, may as well see it through.

The MC just complained about having to read the longest sentence ever written, which is rich because author of this novel writes like she's paid by the word.

Also, I can't put my finger on why, but I'm getting Twilight vibes...

Not gunna like, I'm pretty close to DNFing this. The main character is completely obtuse. We're reminded every once in a while she can hold her own in a fight, but she's SO DENSE.

Also this is overwritten and lacking in worldbuilding at the same time. I get the sense the book could probably knock off at least 150 pages, but also I feel like I don't have a great grasp on the setting yet.

I was wondering why I couldn't find the audiobook for People You Meet on Vacation, but it turns out it's called 'You and Me on Vacation' in Australia (and the UK). So that was confusing.

I would’ve read this sooner if I knew the MC had a connective tissue disorder. And it’s not magically cured, or secretly a superpower, or something dumb! (Or at least it better not turn out that way. I don’t think it will.)

I wish my hyper-mobility came with a dragon though…

I really hope that Hollywood has, or will, change. But there's little incentive to the greedy to advocate for a kid that's making them money. So I don't imagine it has.

Early days, but I'm hoping this isn't one of those adult sci-fi stories that tries to over explain everything...

This is delightful.

The storytelling in this one is pretty simplistic. But it's an easy read so far.
