Fuck... I'm only on chapter 5 and I've already bawled 5 times 😭 this book is going to destroy me isn't it....

I've gone from irritated to furious at the medical inaccuracies about this book. If you are going to write about a specific medical condition, the least you can do is actually get your facts right! 🫠 I say all of this with the unfortunate reality of knowing first hand all about this illness.

This is a hard one. I want to like it, but the medical inaccuracies are driving me NUTS! speaking as someone who has a very similar chronic illness this is just not how it works. In no situation would they let her leave the hospital with a cannula in. EVER. if she was that hard to tap and needed it that often she would have gotten a PICC line. And when she talks about needing a blood type match for organ donation is.

I'm in love. I have never felt so seen by a book in my life. So far I have wanted to cry about 4 times just from situations in the book and thinking "same!" I feel like I'm reading an autobiography 😭

Great read, I’m consuming it faster than air! But page 93 had that horrible clique line, noooooo 😭 you were getting 5/5 stars before that 💔 I shall reconsider when I’m done if it’s really a problem that sticks.

Oh dear god what have I done?! The whole book is written to appear as though an illiterate wrote it but it’s honestly so painful and slow to read and hurts my brain. But I’m going to give it a chance and move on, after all, I did just spend $25 on it....
