I've gone from irritated to furious at the medical inaccuracies about this book. If you are going to write about a specific medical condition, the least you can do is actually get your facts right! 🫠 I say all of this with the unfortunate reality of knowing first hand all about this illness.

This is a hard one. I want to like it, but the medical inaccuracies are driving me NUTS! speaking as someone who has a very similar chronic illness this is just not how it works. In no situation would they let her leave the hospital with a cannula in. EVER. if she was that hard to tap and needed it that often she would have gotten a PICC line. And when she talks about needing a blood type match for organ donation is.
