The first book in my life I preordered!!!
Bloody hell, i am so excited.
And i really hope this will not be the final book for any of the main characters.

I like the perspective of the dog so far.
But i have to say, Schreck/Shrek doesn’t mean Ghost in german. Not sure where the author got that from. Schreck means scare, Geist would be Ghost.

This is fun!!

Again at about one fourth of the book, I lost my interest in the story. Maybe I give it another try in a couple of days!!

It started out good and interesting. Somehow at 24% i am reluctant to read further... maybe I pick it up in a couple of days again.

How can it be that apparent USA Today Bestseller authors can deliver such lousy work??
Does this title have any meaning at all?
Can you buy such titles for a few bucks?

Sorry, I am European and I am flabbergasted by the excessive use of diverse “bestseller titles” to praise authors, who apparently cannot hold up to any praise of such titles.

So far, it is really captivating!

Is there a bloody Button for NON-YA books! "Frustrated sigh"

Wow, that book is almost 3 years old and till today, there are still grammar and writing errors, en masse. Normally i don't care about those trifles. But in this book, sadly, it makes it really, really hard to read. In this case it even influences the story
And the context. I can understand that people did quit several times up to the half of the book.

So far i am excited. It started really interesting and i am enamoured. As i am switching between reading and audio, i can definitely recommend the audio, great voice.

At this point in the story there was a coup de theatre twice. The first one's reasoning was legitimate but the timing was just random. As they new that information all along. So why now act like the Brady family in comparison to ruthless killers a second ago!! It's simply unripe. The characters are inkonsistent and don't rule the story. It seems like the story rules the characters and that weakens the book.

So far the book is confusing, the heroine has rarely shown any authentic emotions being a captive and the shallow descriptions of how beautiful everyone looks is annoying and fills to much space.

Its really promising!! Good one so far. Gotta love a bloody good mafia story.
