I’ve really enjoyed this series quite a bit. I enjoy how her abilities have evolved and how her story has developed. This book seems different…I actually didn’t finish it and am disappointed so far. It’s a lot of banter…but that almost seems like all it is. And the banter isn’t even developing the story but just is there to be there. I’ll come back on the review when/if I finish it.

I REALLY want to like this book....I like Lilith Saintcrow...and I feel the story line could be great. So far, sadly, I find the main character a bit annoying and feel like I’m reading old English. The use of words that are made up for this world, with no real description or explanation of what they are...also makes it hard to follow. I will keep plodding thru and hope it gets better.

Sooooo happy to be reading another Jane Yellowrock book....wish I could ALL the time. Definitely one of my favs...

It's pretty zany....I typically like my lead characters to be a bit stronger or self sufficient....but will see how this develops.

Fun book so far....makes me think of a supernat Buffy....

Seriously enjoying this....the last two of the series are by far my favorite in the series.. but wow...reading so fast just to find out what happens, I have to slow down.

Digging it so far. She is a fun butt-kicking character...even if she is a bit over the top snarky. I like the other characters so far too, especially charlie the golem. cool idea on their creation as well.
