Rebecca Stead writes uncommonly smart kids who never feel false. They are bright and unique without a whiff of unbelievablity. She is a genius.

"Bob English is making less and less sensen. But I like him more and more." Rebecca Stead is becoming one of my favorites. More YA writers need to write this way. Gary D. Schmidt can't do it all alone.

A book I want to devour and savor simultaneously.
