This is absolutely wonderful. It starts out almost like a children's book. The FMC is only five at the beginning. It is extremely well written.

Further interruption of the forward momentum of the escape from sure death with a flashback. Are you kidding me?

Still wasting page space on FMC's angsting instead of offering terse descriptions of her survival prowess against impossible odds. This isn't increasing my reader investment in her survival. At this point in an ebook version I would start skimming. It's hard to do that with an audiobook.

This is what I hate about 1st person POV in an action-adventure novel: the FMC needs to be move or die, but she pauses to give us a backstory lecture on the history of planet Earth. I first ran into that trope in the Harry Dresden books. Jim Butcher is one of the worst offenders for MMC lectures in the middle of deadly fights. Get on with the action, dammit!!!

After a terrific beginning with lots of wonderful romance, the family drama with the parent with dementia takes over the story and turns it into women's fiction far too long for a book advertised as a romance.

The audiobook is a duet narration! The male narrator voices all of the male characters, and the female narrator voices all of the female characters! Yaaaaay!!!!!!

Wow this FMC is irritating. Sloppy slapstick and clueless naivete are not my favorite things in a romcom.

Boy, this is a bizarre YA novel. My daughter says this is her favorite book by this author. I think it's definitely her weirdest one. There is an an MMC and an FMC, and the MMC is an assassin. I'm not generally a fan of anti-heroes. But I'm slogging forward with this.

I can hardly stand to put this book down! It is so well done! There's nothing this author has written that I haven't adored.

I really like the FMC and MMC as individuals as well as their romantic relationship. And though I don't normally particularly care for murder mysteries or police procedurals unless they are TV shows, and I don't typically read historical romances set within the last 100 years, MD is such a fabulous author, I'm really enjoying this series anyway.

I am not enjoying this book. Really really bizarre.

The FMC is the traumatized daughter of an alcoholic mother who deserted her. The last thing she needs as her boyfriend, whether fake or real, is the alcoholic MMC, who is traumatized by his mother's mentally illness.

This is a really depressing. Two wounded protagonists. I keep putting it down and reading other things.

In Fauxmance, Hayden Davenport is portrayed as a sarcastic, cocky, and self-professed player who becomes Magnolia's fake boyfriend for her sister's wedding. He's also the lead singer of the band, HERS, which is a central feature of CO's latest book, Introvert.

The author keeps referencing characters who have not appeared onstage in this book in a manner that makes me feel like this is part of a series. But I don't see any mention of a series associated with this book here on GR or on Amazon.

I don't usually like rockstar romances, but Felix and Aurora are absolutely adorable. I can hardly stand to put the book down. So far this is right up there with my favorite book by this author, Ninja Girl.

It's continuing to be LOL hilarious. Some of his best work!

This is one of the more hilarious books that GK has written. I'm continually laughing out loud.

Recently I purchased the audiobook version of this classic romance via Chirp on sale for only $3.99. I couldn't believe it when I noticed it is narrated by the fabulous Renee Raudman, who has narrated many, many books by Ilona Andrews! I read this book when it was originally released in 1993. I actually haven't reread again in the past 32 years until now.

This is a really dark and depressing, prison break story. I stopped listening to the audiobook version because it takes too long and switched over to the Kindle version. Easier to skim past all the violence. And boy is there a lot of violence!

This book is on sale through Amazon Kindle for 99¢ today. And Junkyard, the short story that's a prequel, is free. Both are also available in audiobook format through Hoopla.

I got this Kindle book on sale today for 99¢. It is s fake-dating, romantic dramedy.

I obtained access to the audiobook version of this novel for free through my Audible membership. The publisher really needs to update this GR entry. The title is, Misdirected.

The GraphicAudio recording is well done and, thank goodness, it condenses the book quite a bit. Because the opening portion is boring me silly. I know it's supposed to be funny, as a 40-year-old divorced woman goes home to live with her slovenly parents, but I'm not laughing. I'm just wanting something interesting to start happening.

I am having major issues accepting the foundational premise of this novel, that the FMC, who is on the autism spectrum, and typically socially awkward, would have had any relationship whatsoever with her ex. There is no way, with his casually cruel, narcissistic personality, and his emphasis on being popular, that he would have chosen her as a girlfriend for 2 minutes, let alone 2 whole years.

This is one of the best things KW has ever written. I love it!

I like the FMC, who is a sweet-natured elementary-school teacher, who is working as a temporary nanny over the holidays, but the 4-year-old twins in her care are portrayed as if they are highly intelligent, verbally precocious 9-year-olds. They routinely use 11-word sentences at an age when children typically only use 4-word sentences, with no attempt to motivate that improbability by declaring them to be gifted.

Mo, the adorable Irish wolfhound, is mournfully missing Gigi, the FMC, after Jace takes him home, and Gigi is pining for adorable Mo. This is both hilarious and sweet. LG always does such a fabulous job writing about animals. And rescue dogs especially.

No audiobook version of this novel this time around. I love this FMC. She is half Greek and half British. She is a veterinarian and works for an animal rescue. She has a whole host of rescue animals in her home. The Meet Cute occurs when she rescues the runaway, beautiful, sweet-tempered Irish wolfhound of the MMC.

This is classic GK from 2006. Exactly what I was hoping for, one of his quirky, absolutely hilarious comedies.
