HE DOESNT KNOW WHAT A FUCKING BATHROOM IS?? He’s been around interacting with the world in the more than a century he’s been existing, he’s able to buy coffee from cafes and he knows what a Bed, Bath and Beyond is, WTF DOES HE THINK THE “BATH” PART IS FOR??? what the fuck is this characterization??

I don’t like this guy right now. I understand what the author was trying to do with the closet confrontation scene but it was executed very poorly and makes the MMC borderline unredeemable in my eyes.

PETER PAN IS A 120 YEAR OLD PLAY AND A 114 YEAR OLD NOVEL AND THE MMC HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED AS AN AVID READER THERE IS NO FUCKING WAY HE DOESNT KNOW WHO TINKER BELL IS!!

Genuinely, does this author believe Disney came up with the concept of Tinker Bell???

Really mixed bag so far. I love FMC’s internal struggle, it really mirrors mine and I feel seen and it’s making me emotional.

At the same time the worldbuilding around how the ghosts work is super inconsistent, and Nolan’s characterisation, specifically to do with how long he’s been dead and what he does and doesn’t know about the modern world is also flip flopping a lot…

This is so delightful so far. I love the descriptions of the food, and just the way everyone talks to each other is so quintessential slice of life. Fantastic so far!
