New Richard Osman series time! Just finished the first three chapters and I'm already hyped for what's next!

Not that interesting but good enough to listen to on Storytel. I am curious who did it though.

Summer holiday so I'll try finishing it.

Nice and easy read. Finally a novel that follows just one person.

It's so hard to get through....some chapters are just a bunch of difficult and dated words. Thankfully some chapters have that Golden Compass and La Belle Sauvage vibe.

Some of the characters are finally coming together. Why so many extra characters, why so much time to build up to what the book refers to as Part Two?

Took a few pages to get into the story again but I'm hooked already. The fantasy part is a little less than previous books, but that makes sense story-wise. Did make the mistake of buying it in Dutch, which does not lend itself for the way it is written.

Forgot about the ending of this story. Can't wait to read what happens when they arrive in the capitol!

Forgot most of the story. It's still an interesting book and describes the difference between the Reds and Silvers in a good way.

Time to start reading this again. It's been 10 years since I've read it, and I remember I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm intrigued so far.

Way more mature than his previous books. Certain events are definitely too impactful for the young readers. However, kept me hooked till the end.

Much more intriguing than the movie....
