This became available at the library so it is usurping A court of thorns and roses for a few hours as my current audiobook

I can't believe I waited so long to get around to reading this book it's absolutely brilliant so far.

I wish I hadn't bought this, I wish I'd rented it from the library or something, although idk if I'd want that on my library record. No one so far has been haunted, the only ghost has felt very out of place because it came after it had been established that the setting was a more normal world and there was no indication of spirituality before this. Seemed like a weird plot device to help Addy find the journals.

Clunky - someone wrote a review saying the plot was clunky. That's the word I was looking for this whole time. It just doesn't... flow? Like maybe it could work? If you're into that? Maybe?

I did think there'd be more haunting in this. I knew there were some NSFW scenes but I thought the plot would be better and the NSFW scenes would be less... Idk what it thought I was going to read it wasn't this though lol
