Just finished the compendium. OMG, what a bloody ending. I don't know, I've heard people complaining about these books, I've really enjoyed them. The storyline, character development, & drawings are enough to keep me reading. The only complaint I had was somewhere between compendium 1 - 2, I thought some of the characters looked too similar. That sense has left me. I like the characters. just ordered volume 25.

Probably will not be reading the next two.

Enough of these books now. I'm into the characters, but something about the writing does not flow for me. The books go between archaeological information and sex scenes. The latter is often highly repetitive.
I read reviews for the last book in the series. They were so dreadful that I think I will just stop here.
