Great tale so far. Like Cat Person but a bit more satirical. Though it takes on all the tropes we see all the time, the insight pushes it forward into 5 stars - hope to get through it and give it a review shortly

So far this is surpassing my high expectations haha - a few pages in and already getting 5 stars

It starts out as a Nathan Ballingrud tale - ie incredible premise but a focus on cosmically mismatched characters, with the background secondary. Now it is settling into a page turner - regardless incredible

You know what is going to happen, but you can not put it down haha

Great tale - Literary Fiction that keeps you turning the page

This one is short, but intense. Gwendoline can bring characters into existence like no other but still - I am looking forward to getting through with it - still incredible.

I mean this in a good way - but it is a standard awesome domestic thriller.

Standard not in the bad sense - but in the sense that it hits all the marks, or at least is hitting them so far.

This is a vintage Iain Reid if there ever was one - like Foe, there are minimal characters, distant farmhouses, and a mysterious capitalized figure - in this case it is the Caller - in any case very good

I am a big fan of novelizations, and this one is absolutely great so far
