I don’t love Willa diminishing her own, factual statement by adding that she’s a “woke pain”. I also don’t know if the author knows what a lesbian is though…

Daughter is gay, I called it

If one of the reveals in this book is that the daughter is a lesbian I will not be surprised, she’s at Barnard!! Also the dialogue in this is like a domestic avengers movie ngl

Literally tragic and exploitative. This last part had me sick to my stomach.

I think overall I am not liking this, but I will finish it. My full thoughts will be in my review. But damn this line:

I fear this might not be for me??? This is reading very ya, very “tell don’t show”, our protagonist is like too perfect idk

This book has a problem with contradicting or repeating itself. Like four chapters ago were told everything is largely peaceful, and now we’re talking about how war happens somewhat often. I believe both can be true in some ways, but as an author you should clarify it.
