I'm about halfway on this book and I stopped it to come write this here.

If you are into slice of life urban gamelit, this book is super entertaining. Highly recommending it.

For a book that tags itself as a settlement/kingdom building story, there's a complete lack of it up to now.

This book is turning out much more enjoyable than book #3. Am glad we're back on track, and early on in the book as well.

My oh my, what an awesome story. I really enjoyed the second book, but this one takes the cake.

You can really see how the author is growing in skills by how he's able to maintain the exhilaration of the story pretty continuously throughout the book, and how you start caring even for minor, recently introduced characters.

The worst part of the book is that it's over and the next one is months away.

I'm having a really hard time with this book. The plot armour is thick, there's a harem build going on, and internal consistencies don't apply.

Had higher expectations.

It started getting enjoyable about right after I made the previous update. Sounds like things are coming to a head.

Is it just me or is this the most "british" of all the books. Having a bit of a hard time getting through it because of it. Let's get to the good parts, urban magic and intrigue. Too much police work so far.

Ugh... this might be the first book I ever actively decide to stop reading.

I have a pretty high tolerance for mistakes, typos and general grammatical issues, but it's getting tough to go through the book. There's 5 of them though so I'm chalking it up right now to it being inexperience.

But come on, General Lizardo?
