Surprised how many times this book has made me genuinely laugh. I’m finding the bat like gargoyle hilarious. I love that he randomly calls everyone Bartholomew 😂

Not understanding the high rating. Pedantic writing, and nothing remotely interesting has happened. Not sure I can endure 400 pages of this. Plus wtf is with everyone telling her to move on only 6 months after her husbands death? Like a bad rip off of ps I love you

Why do authors ruin a perfectly good book with racism? I imagine Hepworth thought that ‘white men’ line was “sticking it to the man” when really it was plain old racism. Had it been a line about black men the uproar - hell the book would’ve never made it to see the light of day. Disappointment

All the libs freaking out over the pro life aspects of this book has put a ginormous smile on my face
