I am not sure I’ve ever read a book where I can’t stand the main character more. She is naive, whiny, in denial, and even when she has all the facts that what she is doing is extremely wrong, could wipe out or enslave an entire race, and damn 90% of her own population, she only cares to get back to her kushy life with her parents (that were against the system) and her sister (in constant fear of demotion).
