The Juniper Holloway in these books has me crying 🤣😂 Absolutely ridiculous

I don’t know that I can even finish. The over the top drama just for drama’s sake is too much. I’m putting it on hold and moving to another one and will try to pick this up later. But now I’m understanding why I never finished this series before.

I was annoyed with who the killer was in the first book and I’m p*ssed at who the victim is in this book. I’ve been debating if I even want to continue this book or the series. This is only the second book in the series but I have no interest in reading a series that spends its time abusing the main character. It’s just not my thing.

I’ve been excited about this book but I’m really struggling to continue it.

Damn it. I knew this was going to happen. I knew it would happen for a future book and storyline but honestly it just makes me want to read this book even less than I already wanted to when I knew who it was going to be about.

This book has so many errors, like here instead of hear. Or distain instead of disdain. I couldn’t even count how many and I’m only 32% in. So distracting.

Noooo. I’m already struggling in this book but then it refers to a Honda Prius 🙄 It’s Toyota Prius. If this minor mistake is already made at 2%, what’s the rest of the book going to bring.

Have you every struggled to read a book over something minor? This book is set in Lakeview, Ohio. Some place I lived and now only live 10 minutes from. It’s not a city. Doesn’t have a police force. Doesn’t have apartments. It’s distracting me already 2% in the constant mention of the location that is not at all accurate.

I’m struggling with this one. It’s taken me 12 hours to read 10%.

I like this series but I don’t like how the first half of the books (or what feels like half) is the same as the previous books just told by a different point of view. Maybe taking a break will help.

Not what I was expecting.

Taking permanent custody and rights from a parent does not happen this quickly. And the author does a disservice to something so important with this. They especially do not do it against someone who is presumed innocent and has not been convicted of anything.

I’m struggling with this one. I am not a fan of miscommunication being used to create the drama and this author uses it in every book. This one is worse than all the others.

Seriously, this female is a “strong” woman who “owns” her own business that her father bought. She’s judges her friend for sex with others. She only moved out of her father’s because he gave permission. And she doesn’t want to work, because she just wants to get married. Kill me now!

So far it isn’t a bad story but I’m already over the moaning and complaining about how old they are. They’re 45. I’ve heard less complaining from people twice their age. Good grief.
