Maddening! These sentences are back to back! Why did he use her name so many times?

“Movement caused TAYA to flinch. Heart skipping a beat, TAYA raised her pistol…”

This is what I’m talking about! How did no one catch this?

In a cyberpunk mood so I’m trying to finish this. Man, I wish Daniel had realized he’s saying the character’s name way too much. It’s so distracting reading that Taya did this, and then Taya did that. Say “she” more!

Halfway through and am finding this book meandering. I have no idea what’s going on, and neither does the main character.

Fun book so far.

I don’t think I can finish this. It’s boring and repetitive, with a ton of telling and not showing.

I’m halfway into this and nothing interesting has happened yet. No wonder I can never retain these books. I don’t know why I bother. Rand is just going from inn to inn and riding horses. So boring.

Taya did this and Taya did that. It’s okay to say “she” every once in a while, especially if she’s the only one in the scene. 😋

The writing is stiff and awkward. I’m not sure I’ll be able to finish reading it. Brad’s hilarious on YouTube, but his prose can use some work.

I’m listening to the audiobook. Is there really a character named Butta?

I’m sorry, but the Constance chapters are so boring. I’m skipping them from now on and only reading the chapters that take place in the present. Those are the only chapters I care about anyway.

The detail and atmosphere are great so far.
