Finished! 1055 pages following the 9 months from Gary Gilmore’s release from prison in Illinois to his execution for homicide in Utah. This book thrived when depicting the life of a man who spent 22 of his 36 years incarcerated and his community. It bored me a little when focusing on the media circus around Gilmore’s execution.
