This book does not have trigger warnings. MC is neglected by her mother and SA’d at age 7 in Chapter 2. This causes trust issues and skews her future relationships. This book is not the whimsical beach read I expected.

Why do I like this series? Violet is so emotionally immature. “You’re keeping secrets” as she lies to
everyone else. “You don’t trust me” as she is on deck to be tortured by people who know she has knowledge she shouldn’t. I love everything about this series but Violet. She is the worst.
