Are all Ellery Queen mysteries about a non-conformist woman with rich relatives and and an awkwardly exotic female antagonist? Or do I just keep picking those?

Verse by verse commentary and Old Testament insights. Would make an excellent study discussion...

You listen to people's stories who claim to have come out of MKUltra experiments and think, "Meh. Maybe. This is so left field". Then you read a book like this and go, "Holy crap. These people are *that* sick.". Child prostitute rings and all... Very sad.

The three most basic premises are clear -
1.) Israel's right to exist within recognized borders - and to live in peace - must be accepted by Palestinians and all other neighbors.
2.) The killing of noncombatants... [on either side]...cannot be condoned.
3.) Palestinians must live in peace and dignity in their own land as specified by international law unless modified by good faith negotiations with Israel.

I am so excited about this book that I have a hard time reading it because every other paragraph is a GREAT idea and I want to run away and implement it. I can't wait to pick elderflowers next spring and build my very own authentic French silo.

I don't say this often, but the tv version was better... Tony Shaloub's panache is missing and focusing on Natalie's POV waters down the plot for me.

I am endeared to this unique series.

I feel like my childhood was normal after reading this book... The way my brain worked at that age was apparently normal.

I loved the story of Nell and Twenty-Two.
