Why does this have me slow crying like the end scene of Swayze's "Ghost"? I feel like Demi Moore reading this with tears seeping out of my eyes! This is going to get 5 stars for the emotional toll alone. Don't read this with your eyes, read with your heart. I am not okay...who even am I right now?!

I am LOVING this! Dark element has arrived and he is contemptuous. On the brighter side - I am kicking my heels at Orsian asking Tansy on a date finally! They are so sweet (with a side of steamy) together and they've been through so much individually. Their evolving relationship is precious. Also, I like the portrayal of fenfolk.

Mimi reminds me of Katherine Hepburn. The narrator is doing a decent job of voicing the character with the exception of a couple that are just coming through weirdly. Agatha Christie vibes.

Just starting so fingers crossed this goes better than my other AB. I like that there's a cast of different people reading for the characters.

Ok, this is on hold. Considering adding it to my DNF shelf but my brain won't let me (yes, I'm one of those people). It's just not wired for not finishing a book and I don't understand why because I live in procrastination station! So, it's on hold as I had to return it to Libby for the next person and it wouldn't let me renew anyway - which...fair. That's ok since it was starting to drag or my interest was waning?

Triggers for domestic abuse and child abuse. This is just heartbreaking. Powerful but tragic beginning to Alice's tale. I'm listening via audiobook because apparently there's a Netflix show. Poor Agnes & Alice.

*crickets*...I mean wtf? This story is a hybrid baby of the movies "The Witches of Eastwick" ,"Stand By Me" and "The Ya-Ya Sisterhood". Some parts are cringe-y, some suspish (as in All of the staff) and other select moments are just grody.

Short chapters? Huzzah! Fast paced start with shite going down from the first line of the first chappie. I will caution that if you don't like astrology, specifically horoscopes, then this may give you the "ick". But I'm only on ch. 7 so cross fingers it won't be referenced much more as the story progresses - help me manifest this desire.
