Triggers for domestic abuse and child abuse. This is just heartbreaking. Powerful but tragic beginning to Alice's tale. I'm listening via audiobook because apparently there's a Netflix show. Poor Agnes & Alice.

Ok, this is on hold. Considering adding it to my DNF shelf but my brain won't let me (yes, I'm one of those people). It's just not wired for not finishing a book and I don't understand why because I live in procrastination station! So, it's on hold as I had to return it to Libby for the next person and it wouldn't let me renew anyway - which...fair. That's ok since it was starting to drag or my interest was waning?
