So good!

I've lost count on how many times I've rolled my eyes. I'm just too old for this shit.

My first complaint. The book cover. I'm sorry but the dude does not look like a guy in college. He's all man, no college kid will look like him. This pisses me off more than it should. LOL.

Really? That's where you're going with this plot? Predictable much and so effing stupid. Just no.

Putting this on hold for now. I went ahead and read the spoilers. Know who the killer it (totally saw that coming), and also saw the other plot twist coming as well. Seriously, it's like this book was written by two drunk people who were competing to see who would come up with the most bullshit.

So addictive. I'm usually not a fan of heroines who feel guilty over something that is purely in their heads (it wasn't like she was super close to her sister). But I'm loving the angst.

So far so good. It's so nice to read a well written novel after the hot mess that was the The Royal series.

Reading this is like pulling teeth. So freaking boring. I'm tempted to skip ahead to see who is the killer and be done with it. ugh.

A lot of suspension of disbelief is required to enjoy this book, lol. Cruel Intentions, Gossip Girl had better, more intelligent plots/bad guys (and that's saying a lot).

Argh, the romance pace is so slow, it's driving me crazy. I know that the story is not about Feyre and Rhys, but I want some loving already.

I seriously thought it would not be impossible to love this book, not when the love story between Feyre and Tamlin captivated me so much in book 1. But Maas is a magician. Yes, there's a change of ships, but it's done in a way it doesn't feel forced or like a manipulation from the author. It was hard to put the book down last night.

I wish J.R. Ward would stick to one freaking couple. I so do not care about Butch and Marissa. They had their book, to me their story is done.

Gosh, this book is such a bore.

I'm so utterly bored. Repetitive inner dialogue is one of my pet peeves and this novel has plenty. Plus the dragon and witch references have gotten old.

A bit slow, but we'll see how it goes.

Elle Kennedy is great at writing sex scenes. Not so much as creating a story outside of the bedroom. Too much tell for my taste and I find myself skipping to get to the good parts. MCs personal dramas feel like an afterthought, a backdrop, and that is it.

F*ck! I reached the point of no return. I don't want to put this book down, but I have to work. (Fall on my knees, look up at the sky, and let out an anguished sob).

I'm failing to see the Pride and Prejudice retelling here. Naming your MC after Liz Bennet doesn't count.

I think we have all the stupid, cliche troupes in this one. It's boring.

It's getting harder and harder to ignore the amount of bullshit there is in this novel.

Meh, I think this is going to be a 3 stars read for me.

Definitely not as good as The Deal. The plot is missing a bit of spark and it's too much insta love for my taste.

Beginning to lose interest here. Serious case of insta love. Not digging it.

I think I've put this book aside at least 5 times now. I'm not sure if it's the writing style I don't like, or if it's the fact that I wasn't able to connect with the protagonists. They're kind of boring if you ask me. I'm not sure if it will be a DNF or not yet.

Ugh, it keeps getting worse and worse. The MC is so pathetic, so full of woe.

I'm bored.
