I both love and hate this book and am very confused by these emotions.

This book is both predictable and touches on topics that hit a little close to home. Don’t know how I feel about that.

I love how vivid this story is. Shines clear in my imagination.

The first, I don’t know, 25% of this book was great! A real page turner. Now we are in the “and now we are traveling and discovering ourselves” portion that is part of so many fantasy novels lately and I’m just BORED. Come on!

There is something obsessive about this book. I never want to put it down but have to go do adult things. ARGH.

I adore Cogman’s writing and devoured her last series. This one already has me enamored.
