I finally gave in... so far, it's quite good. I can definitely see why folx recommended this after IPB got popular.

I will say I am so glad the cover got an upgrade with the renewed interest. The old cover was giving me wattpad vibes and fueled my hesitance to get started.

I know many dislike the romance between Darius and Reagan, but I am finding it so refreshing. Breene isn't pretending Darius isn't an ELDER VAMPIRE. He's not dropping the elder vamp tropes and suddenly acting like any other 20something with her. I kinda hope Darius stays an *sshole.
