Almost fell asleep at least 3 times while reading first chapter so I abandoned it

I was absolutely hypnotized by this book. The description of the music was so good I had to double check that it was, in fact, fiction because I really wanted to hear the songs! The characters are well-rounded and the story unfolds at just the right pace. The little aha moments spice things up at the end too. It's the kind of book you read when you just want a good story... But it's a great story.

Loved it! Wasn't too long, kinda wished it went a bit longer. Characters were fascinating and storyline clear. Would recommend

Couldn't put it down!
There were a few times that the info dump irritated me because I was too excited about what was about to happen to care about backstory, but the info ended up being important to understand the story. Totally worth a second read and I can't wait to read part 2!

So many things I can relate to in this memoir. Also tons of inspiration and thought-provoking comments about illness, healing and death.
An amazing author, with the ability to make me feel intimately close to her. I will likely read this book many times, as I make my own way through cancer.

A soothing bit of fluff with the required bumps to keep your attention. Made me want to knit more.

Thoroughly enjoying this book right now! And what better day than International Women's Day?
