He's getting interrogated now and in the back of my mind I feel like everyone should just work together then more information can be uncovered but then I have to remind myself that you can't trust theses hoes and some of them are probably secret antagonists or have their own agenda. Feels like O'Shaughnessy (THAT'S how you spell that??) is going to kill him because they keep calling her "femme fatale" idk though

Sean Pratt is an excellent performer my favourite audiobook narrator so far he is absolutely making this book I’m really liking it. Mystery! I wonder what on earth is going on. Enjoying the moral ambiguity of Spade for the most part (except his treatment of women but that’s a given). Third person pov is so perfect for this book it’s so fun I can’t trust anyone

Such an interesting section with Klara’s disorientation and all the conversations happening around her— and Vance and Helen’s conversation! So much going on I love it but there’s hardly any pages left how will it end?? I am in such suspense I hope it’s satisfying or exciting. Hope Klara is okay after the extraction.. Meant to read a page then go to sleep but got sucked in this part was too good.

The plot twist!!! Oh my god!! I feel dumb but I didn’t see that coming. Interesting idea to throw around that humans do not have a soul and that could be proven by science. I can’t find it in myself to even be able to agree for the sake of the story it just doesn’t make sense. Should Josie die, an AF of her will only be a robot— obviously not her. It’s just another grieving doll.

So excited to learn more!! What is lifted?? What is this special realtionship between the AF or just Klara and the sun??? haha love Rick. I'M SO EXCITED TO LEARN MORE !! Rushing to leave RMIT with the crib gang rn so can't write properly but I really like it super interesting POV and writing.

I'm looking forward to a twist with the sabotage plan or games or post-games events that we don't know about yet. There must be some big things lined up and I know something egregious must happen to make Haymitch who he is at the start of Hunger Games so I am apprehensive but so curious! I'm sure his final axe stunt will be Panache or something but I wonder what would happen if the Newcomers finished off the Careers.

I'm super excited for them to start the games, but I've enjoyed the setting up so far and it's always nice to see familiar faces. I do think the latter is a little overdone because it keeps making me think about how these interactions should affect Haymitch and their relationship in Mockingjay and I feel like if this was written before then that would be a bigger thing, you know? But! It makes me excited for the end.

Ok breaking dawn. Sure. This book is like one big parody but without the comedy so more like fanfiction ugh. The riddle was so easy!!!!! I knew it instantly and was hoping it would be something more interesting or complex but God I guess it's a book for younger people but like come on!!! Amarantha is crazy she gave up everything only to give mediocre trials and get easily betrayed. Tamlin <3 Deaths were for nothing.

God I was really engaged and intrigued at first and happy the action was quick in getting her into Prythian, but honestly been a little bored after that. I don't like Feyre much but I'm sure she'll grow and it's probably due to my age and the harsh upbringing she's had so I shouldn't fault her. Trinity telling me it was a Beauty and the Beast retelling stuck in my head and now I keep seeing Disney when reading.

First day back in Melb and mostly read this. Still not my thing and I find it a bit pretentious but it's fine to read and I'm interested in how it will wrap up. Definitely below my reading level by now since it's so childish but an interesting perspective into traumatised kids and coming of age. It gives extreme John Green vibes (sadly for me not a plus) but is fine even so.

Mid-read right now but HE'S FIGHTING GALBATORIX!!! Everything has led up to this moment oh my god. Like duelling not just mind stabbing! Also not Eragon fighting the big bad of the series with the magic of morality... but I'll take it. Paolini has beautiful writing and descriptions as always. How did Murtagh know the Word?! What! Also is he dead surely not. Nasuada and Elva are just chilling during all this ahaha.

I can't wait to see how this happens and resolves. I'm glad that Galbatorix easily caught them because he's crazily overpowered and should act like it! Shruikan's size is crazy how on earth will they overcome that. Can they reason with the enslaved to win? Doubtful. I know Roran is gonna slay (literally), but how! I believe when Galby says the fight is going badly for the Varden. Excited for the many remaining pages!

Only meeting the main antagonist halfway through the 4th massive book is insane but I'm so happy we finally met the man. Super engaging very happy and it's action-packed! Love the cunning and fun ways of winning different seemingly impossible fights and even the different perspectives aren't so bad. Invested in Nasuada's POV: Murtagh<3 & Galbatorix?! Excited for Vroengard– what's inside!! Also who's the green dragon.

Read most of the book today. WHEN AMI WAS ON THE TABLE!!! Everyone knew the catalyst was going to need human murder lol but I still like how it came together. Love story seems a bit rushed and I don't feel all that much for it but I'm not too fussed. Even though the scientist base screamed evil all along its satisfying to have the whole truth out! ALSO SHE SHOULD TELL HARRIET ABOUT HER SISTER WTF?? Final battle time?

Can't believe I didn't update when I started reading this! Been reading a lot since summer break started.

The way I GASPED when I saw "DO NOT PRETEND THAT THIS IS LOVE" as the section title omg. So I was wrong about the ending being him dying of old age or the aging process tearing them apart– I didn't even think about all the foreshadowing!

Took me until them in the US bar to realise Luc was into her ha (maybe?)

Not the texting! ;)) Alex really is so oblivious about his bias against Henry I swear it's a bit annoying how obvious he is but it's really easy to read and I'm enjoying it. Alex is flirting like mad with Henry I'm so excited for the rest of the book whew. Might take a break to start my English books but this is a fun one I hope I get more invested :)

Xmas present from Rob! Definitely not a book I would pick up myself, so it's interesting reading some of these lessons, the one that stood out to me was how you don't need a reason to see someone, see them to wish them a "happy Thursday". The Winnie the Pooh style is cute. I easily resonate with Taoism more than the other two mentioned in the book!

Ok I'm still reading but had to get this thought out there. I am FLYING through this book even though I'm not blown away by the writing I highly commend it's readability, it's so incredibly easy to get through. Love the commentary on the themes going on here. The thought: it's so interesting how Ryle turning up unannounced used to make me excited and giddy, but now fills me with fear and dread. Talk about a 180.

Oh God. I couldn't put the book down and read til 3am! Didn't love the beginning but got into it quickly. It all reminds me of a fanfiction somehow but with better (higher) rates of romantic interest encounters. Ryle hitting her shocked me so much I started panicking at the betrayal it was intense and I hated it. Wanted to cry when she made excuses for him but I respect her logic. Can't wait more Atlas! Flows well.

Crying lol. Rough time emotionally in real life and the final scene between them is so so sad and devastating to me David really is an awful person and Giovanni's monologues and backstory has broken my heart. So my real life emotions have built up and this book has released the dam. The writing is too good I can't take it Giovanni's monologuing had me spellbound.

The misogyny coming out in random parts shocked me lmao I should know better. I guess I don't expect it in a book about a gay relationship? The writing is so so good it seems relatable even though I share nothing in common with David and it's just so artful. Was genuinely a bit disturbed/upset at how he treated Sue but it's very revealing of his character.

Love the writing it's beautiful.

Weirdly I'm really enjoying the writing on this one... should probably read my other set texts for this class. I accidentally spoiled the end I think the goat dies but I'm interested in where it's all going because right now it's just the fight between Martin and Stevie and damn I feel for her. Also very scared of the implications of male infidelity norms within this book :(

The plot twist sucker punched me I gasped and entered a state of shock. I am so happy though this is so bittersweet I'm obsessed with this plot progression. It changes everythinggg. Worth the more plain parts to reach this massive Oromis explanation section. Roran's fight was epic. Knew he could do it, love him. Where is Arya though! I miss her/Eragon's lovey feelings for her. Knowing about B* makes me so upset 3

Just got back into this after finishing the last PJ book!! Oh my GOD finally the dwarf politics are pretty much over! That took way too long I swear also the Eragon-Roran-Saphira POV cycle is interesting but of course Eragon is my fav. I actually got a little sweaty when they were all casting their votes but thank god Orik is king and the duo are reunited :) Waiting for an Arya cameo tho tbh but first coronation time

The final battle is about to begin... this is so Eragon rn ahaha

Also every girl ever wants Percy at this point lmao jokingg but him and Rachel have some chemistry I can't lie! Yes Percybeth is end game but stillll. Also Annabeth is a bit too sarcastic and snarky for me at points in this story like I love her but girl. And are we not gonna talk about how they KISSED ;-; can they have a discussion please.

About to meet Pan omg. Been reading all day after the dermatologist appointment and it's so funn I'm rly engaged with the story and the action +plot is very cool and inventive. This book is driving home how Percy is perceived as an attractive guy and I'm here for it. However, I'm very depressed about Calypso. Luke's body reveal! I love Rachel she's awesome also throwing the plastic hairbrush! Can't wait to finish it.

Page number is a rough estimate I have no idea what it actually is (AO3 haha). Haven't read it in a while as I saw the rest of the story didn't have any Jungkook in it AHAHA I like the story though it's very sweet :) . The conflict is pretty solid too. I should skim through the rest at some point soon and move on to the third instalment but just thought I'd update that I have read most of it already!
