The plot twist sucker punched me I gasped and entered a state of shock. I am so happy though this is so bittersweet I'm obsessed with this plot progression. It changes everythinggg. Worth the more plain parts to reach this massive Oromis explanation section. Roran's fight was epic. Knew he could do it, love him. Where is Arya though! I miss her/Eragon's lovey feelings for her. Knowing about B* makes me so upset 3

Just got back into this after finishing the last PJ book!! Oh my GOD finally the dwarf politics are pretty much over! That took way too long I swear also the Eragon-Roran-Saphira POV cycle is interesting but of course Eragon is my fav. I actually got a little sweaty when they were all casting their votes but thank god Orik is king and the duo are reunited :) Waiting for an Arya cameo tho tbh but first coronation time

I've evidently been on hiatus from this book for a while, simply out of the habit of reading again (my habits always fluctuate it seems). Also of course I've been reading other things such as PJ. I only read a few pages today so this can actually count as an update, but I've had around this much of the book done for a while, just haven't been diligent on Goodreads! Dwarf politics at the moment, hope for action soon.

Enjoying the Eragon and Arya scenes at the moment although it’s a tad slow— that might be my fatigue though. Finally the reveal of how Fäolin was Arya’s love! Glad she confided in him. I hope their relationship develops further soon :) . I wonder what significance the bearded man on the hill holds. Can’t wait for the Saphira and Eragon reunion it’s been too long ;-; .

Really enjoying it, I’m truly absorbed into the story. I know it’s true because I say this while reading Eragon literally just running through a forest all the way to the Varden. I was at first irritated to see Nasuada’s POV but quickly saw how useful and insightful it is to the story and overall enjoyed it. God they’re both idiots! Yet still I stand behind them. The writing shows noticeable improvement <3

Eek I love it!! The Helgrind scene was so cool oh my god. The fighting and magic and success of saving Katrina! Annoyed that Sloan is still causing problems even with pecked out eyes (that part really disturbed me) but I understand Eragon’s dilemma. I wish he would just k*** him but it’s Eragon so. THE WAY A BUMBLEBEE SAVED HIS LIFE— To think the difference between winning or losing this war is a single bee.

Excited to be back in this story! I don't understand so many words oh gosh I'm "Hey Siri"-ing so much. The beauty of the writing is making me question whether I've been too harsh with my rating for "Eldest", but nevertheless I hope this book surprises me and keeps up the strong beginning. That meaning it jumped into the action/a scene where action is coming up soon and the filler is conveyed through brief narration.
