This book started off a bit slow for me, but once the time traveling events began, it became quite interesting. There are times where the author goes off on overly descriptive tangents that seem unnecessary to the plot, but I'm still liking it so far....

I just don't know that I can finish this book. I love Emily Griffin's books, but I just cannot get into this one. I'm having trouble connecting to this character. Maybe I'll eventually try finishing it, but I'd really rather shelve this one for now. I hope this is a one-off for this author as I've enjoyed all other books but this one.

I bought this book on a whim. I had sent a sample of another book to my Kindle when this one came up in the recommendation section. I'm so glad I decided to purchase it as it's been a really interesting book so far. I love that, even though it's a work of fiction, it's based on a true story/real person.
