I'm going into retirement, effective immediately. Reviewing started as a hobby for me, but over the years I turned it into a 'job' with pressures and stresses I can no longer handle with my neurological condition. For my own health, I have to step back. I may drop the occasional review, but don't count on anything. I need to focus on getting well now.

I admit I had actually forgotten but Alderaan-before-the-explosion gets a bit of page time here! It's been too many years since I re-read. Glad to be getting back to it.

Twelve pages in and I'm already misting up. Even though I've read this before multiple times. Han's origin story is just so damn harsh. But it sure does make you care about the characters when the stakes are so real and the galaxy is so unforgiving.
