I have been listening for 7 hours by now, but the plot is only starting 😳 I don't like how all modern books absolutely must be as thick as a wooden block in order to be published 🤦🏼‍♀️ 24 hours of narration... 3 average books, back in the days 👵🏻

I am kinda tired from all this non-stop adventure 😞 The pace is fast, action-packed - however, it could have easily been 2 books. The audio lasts for almost 21 hours! After 11 of them, I was already exhausted.

Didn't read fantasy for some time, but after all the booktube reviews, I decided to give this book a try 🤣
So far, it's good. However, the main heroine is a little annoying 😑 In the first paragraph, she laments her own lack of strength, weak muscles, and short height. In the next paragraph, she is rejecting anyone who is trying to help her with these temporary problems. Annoying 😤

Incredibly boring, I don't want to ever open this book again....

Excruciating slow pace.... Is it gonna pick up at the other half of the book or.....
There's literally no intrigue, no plot, nothing to grab your attention 😒

The tv show was great (my first tv series!) but cliffhanger ending of season 1 made me google the plot of the novel and..... sex offense is not what I want or can proceed in a book :/
I mean.... why would you be so cruel.... even to a fictional character....
But my aunt borrowed the book to me, so here we are.

Is that a children book?! I was recommended to read it a few years ago without checking the age restrictions.
Well, so far it seems way too childish.

I still don't get everyone's fascination with this story... It's unbelievably impersonal, slow pacing, with dry narration and unlikable characters.

{Spoiler} I saw on twitter the special gift set of main heroes' pictures and what I can't understand is why there are Catherine and Grace on them but no Cyprion who's been in the story for 90% of the time.
