This is soooo bad.

This book is terrible and I don't know why I'm reading it.

I super hate this so far and am questioning my decision to read more novels about annoying vain rich people.
Maybe it will get better and they'll all get violently murdered.

I have never read a book that says the word "ghost" so many times without having an actual ghosts in it.

A slow fire burning indeed. I've started and stopped this book at least 4 times and I can't get page 5.
My fault, not the books. Probably.

Boy this is long.

About 20 minutes into the audiobook on this one, and I totally understand why someone would want to kill Paolo if that's what happened. Let's take your girlfriend who is afraid of water, can't swim, and gets motion sickness - on a BOAT and then make fun of her for being nervous, feeling seasick, wearing a lifejacket, and then blame it on her bipolar disorder.

What a dick. I hope she drowned his ass.

I love Angie Thomas' other books, but I'm struggling with this one.

The premise is interesting, but it's slow-going.

I have no idea why I'm reading this book. I generally can't stand chick-lit. But I thought - fat shaming, possible revenge story about a shitty high school friend who comes crawling back? I could get into that.

I don't know if I can do it. This woman clearly hates herself, even while she's snapping and posting constant selfies.

You are swiftly losing interest

Strike has the flu and is walking around a mall doing Christmas shopping, and it is giving me SO MUCH ANXIETY.

I am really hoping the vampire starts eating these women's husbands. If anyone ever spoke to me the way these men speak to their wives I'd totally sink my teeth into their neck.

I just can't get into this. I need to be in a different headspace. It's going back on the shelf for now.

I am not loving this audiobook, but it's probably my own fault. I'm not paying as much attention as I should be, so it's all jumbling together. I may switch to the ebook version.

I dunno if I can do this. It is too much angsty teen drama.

Whenever I'm in a reading slump, I always go back to Potter.

I really hope this gets better, because the amount of eye rolling I've done so far is going to make me pull a muscle.
The only reason I haven't given up is because I don't have any other audiobooks in my queue. Also, I'm kind of hoping that something happens to make me think "oh they're NOT the most irritating and self absorbed people ever, cool."

This is the longest book ever.
