I really hope this gets better, because the amount of eye rolling I've done so far is going to make me pull a muscle.
The only reason I haven't given up is because I don't have any other audiobooks in my queue. Also, I'm kind of hoping that something happens to make me think "oh they're NOT the most irritating and self absorbed people ever, cool."
