Why is it I always seem to dnf the books I pay actual money for?

I'm literally two pages in and I've discovered this man has a bob? An actual F.A.B?

I think it's time for a dnf at 33% I tried but got so bored

Authors need to stop putting dates in books man. It won't age well

For some reason all I keep imagining is the 14/15 inch height difference and how much their necks must hurt.

Girl has an "ancient" name.... Is called Luna. Named after a dog or something idk

I think the author knew they'd done too much, after they had to include a character list, just for readers to refer back to.

I genuinely don't understand how this book is number 1 in its respective genres on the kindle store. I'm trying to like this, I really am. But this book is so messy. And not even the story telling. Just the general choppy time jumps/poor chapter layout. Also the use of uk/aus terminology, when this isn't set in either of those places
