I hate her. I can’t believe I’m reading another duet where I can’t stand the female main character.

I seriously hate this style of book. An evil, liar, vindictive sister and a pushover who doesn’t think for herself.

I decided since it’s 3 perspectives that must means I’m 2/3 of the way done. I really wish we got more from Jack. Heck I could have read an entire book from his point of view. This book gets the tears going repeatedly.

Listening to the audio, I’m not sure of the percent. But how can they cut from that scene on Finny to Jack. This isn’t fair. Ugly crying again. Ugh

It’s really not much reading before I realize I hate the female main character. But man does she rub me the wrong way. Naive is acceptable given the whole high school thing, but her inner monologue and rationals really irritate me.

Turns out he does boneheaded things too. But….

I think I may have a problem. I seem to hate every single female main character this year. Add her to the list. My heart breaks for him.

At least Miller gets it. You have to admire a guy who sees the bigger picture. I do hope this is the wake up call she needed to get her act together. I find her rather insufferable.

He kept his promises. She’s a hypocrite. I hate this.

Finally a dual perspective book. However, so far I’ve been going between being irritated between 3 peoples actions…. This is great.

I thought reading was supposed to be relaxing?

So I realized why I have hated this authors writing style…. The main characters desire to ruminate about the same thing again and again. This really grates on my nerves.

Why don’t I quit reading the books or the series? I refuse to DNF ever.

So now she’s stealing Matthew’s words. Please don’t let me be too late. Ugh. I hate the thoughts in her head. She always assumes the worst of people and allows her dad into her head.

She’s an indecisive prick. Ugh. I’m wondering why I continued with this series.

I always hated the dad. But those lies were devastating. Not a fan of Brooklyn, but the dad made it so much worse.

She chose to walk away. I hate her, I’ve always struggled with her, but seriously. All she does is give up.

It’s like history is repeating itself and Matt is a moron. I’ve always loved him, but dear god is he a moron.

I scoured for spoilers online. I’m irrationally irritated with Matthew. I loved him throughout the series, but I’ve almost always been more in the dudes corners than the girls, it’s just my thing. But the way this book is going, I want to smack him upside the head. He deserved better but you have to make better decisions Matthew. 😑
