Amazing and entertaining

So far I agree with the one star reviews. The characters are very inconsistent and their actions don’t really align with that they are thinking. I can’t really relate to them.

I‘m ashamed.. I’ve picked the book up again after finding out how it ends and still being a bit intrigued. Also King has such a wonderful writing style.

I dislike Rachel very much. I get she’s sensitive about death but she’s a moron and childish

The writing style is super strange.
The first thing I noticed was how she uses hyperbole but as a reader you’re never sure if she means it or not? I found it super unrealistic that Sally started cooking for Gillian when she was in 3rd grade. That’s age 9 or something? Also some of the writing feels like she’s trying too hard to make you feel something.

I found the movie ok but the book is kinda taxing.

Recommend this for anyone who thinks their parents might be emotionally immature. Awesome book and gets to the point.
