The question that you have to ask yourself with Marske's nymphomaniac MCs is - if there wasn't arousal, and there wasn't sex, would they even like each other as people? Considering that all that they ever do is f*** or think about f***ing. And lose their minds over simple touches.

The Last Binding 3 was the same. Sigh. Only Edwin and Robin escaped their fate to remember that love, and not just lust, is also a thing.

Starting to suspect that my 3-star reading slump is not so related to YA...

Stuck in a 3-star reading slump. I think that an over-load of YA may be the problem... but there's not much on my TBR that's not YA, because apparently slash is best paired with an age of minimum 18 character-wise. Sigh.

This is incredibly confusing. I was tempted to DNF but instead I’ve decided to ignore the back-story & pretend that each man’s past is just a mystery that’s never revealed to us. Which is helping! Let’s hope that this tactic is sustainable...

The only way to get through this is to spoil yourself so that you know that there's something more interesting than what you're reading at the moment to look forward to. I skimmed ahead until I saw what was coming, so I won't DNF for now. But if that's a let-down as well...

Reached the 150 mark, and I'm not sure whether or not to read on. Everything is A Mystery™ but I'm not sure whether or not I want to wait around for 500 pages for All To Be Revealed™. Particularly if it's just 500 pages of more waffle.

Going to 250 pages, then deciding whether or not to DNF.

Oh boy... am I bored of these people. I've never met a more pretentious, self-pitying bunch of people in my whole life. I want to smack each and every one of them. However, everyone on Tumblr is pleading with me not to give up because at some point the story is meant to start, so I'm giving it until page 150... Come on, Yanagihara. Don't let me down.

Is it bad that I'm considering DNF-ing this at only 8%?
