Okay technically I should be reading Bride first but -

I’m pretty sure the next three books are my LEAST favourite of hers, and I’m afraid that if I read Bride then I’ll want to go straight to Mate which is currently in my top three and so then I might just never finish my re-read because I’ll skip this, Deep End and PSR. So. Yeah.

Okay so many things just happened and I feel like that’s a bit harsh

I think I’m starting to remember some bits about this book… but also, I think I’m enjoying this?

I don’t know if I can’t remember this book very well because I felt so bad for Elsie that I suppressed the plot - or if my brain has just decided to reset every time I break open another book.

…there better not be a surprise reveal of either a short lifespan regardless of the price they need to pay, or grand sacrifice of one’s lifespan in the future of this book because so far I’m actually still finding this funny
