The plot of this book is truly held together with the most fraying string possible. Why is everyone surprised at the fact that one of them isn’t human when they all have literal world-ending powers and are barely human themselves? Not a lot in here really makes much sense.

The Fall of the House of Usher / 5⭐️

Honestly, I think What Moves the Dead was a better telling of this story but man, is it clear why this is such a hit.

Well every character in this book is pretty unbearable so far (aside from Owen perhaps), and Lore feels like an absolute caricature of an American leftist which feels like propaganda honestly but the republican in the book is also unbearable so? Everyone sucks?
