This is the 3rd book I've read by this author and so far it's my least favorite. Dalton has the potential to be a good guy but he's just an inch or so too far over the "douche" line. And the red pill "beta" reference didn't help.

The only reason I'm finishing this book is because it's so short. I am really questioning the taste level of most of the reviewers for this book.

So far I'm not impressed by this book. She's anorexic and he thinks he can fix her by trying to force her to eat? And what's up with the ex he's "friends" with? As of right now Adam sucks.

While I'm a little less annoyed with Damien now, I wish he would stop making jokes about Elec and Greta. Yes it sucks Chelsea got her heartbroken, but mocking them won't change that.

If I wasn't so stubborn this would be a DNF. Damien is obnoxious and I wish Chelsea would punch him and then get a restraining order.

Unless something drastic happens, Caden is probably going to end up on my "best heroes" list after this. I have no idea why Summer even thought about her asshole stepbrother after he walked into the picture.

I really hope Tank and Sable get a book. They are so funny.

I'm slowly starting to lose faith in Coop as well. Two subs with anxiety seems to be too much for him. If this wasn't written by an author I have so much faith in it would be a DNF.

I get Coop not throwing him aside but the endless reiteration of Hunter being more important is obnoxious, but why does Hunter get two people who put him first and Dani just has to accept that she's on the bottom of the priority list? Unless Hunter pulls his head out of his ass this may go on my short list of "not to be re-read" books from the Suncoast Society series.

At the moment, I'm rooting for the bad guy. He's the most interesting character in this book
