This is a rough read. The chapters have varied points of view, but there is no difference in the writing. Amelia and Noah sound exactly the same. Whoever recommended this book on NPR needs a stern talking to. 😑

My child (almost 7) has decided that this series is getting “too serious and too violent” for him and that we need to wait to read the rest of this book until he is “at least 10 years old.” So it’s going to be on my Reading shelf on GoodReads for quite awhile. 😆
