Celinda Reyes is starting Better Than the Movies (Better Than the Movies, #1)

I really enjoyed the book up until the last 6 minutes when a joke made about the main character made me uncomfortable for religious reasons. I try to be open when reading but religion is such a big part of who I am that I can’t continue reading a book that makes me uncomfortable in that area. No hate is intended towards the author or her writing however this is a personal boundary that I can’t compromise about.

Super boring manga. I haven’t read many older manga so I’m hoping that this one is just a product of its’ time but I didn’t enjoy any of the characters and the plot moved way too slowly. Will not be finishing the series.

So I wonder if Nina is actually Johan's twin sister and the reason why he's killing childless couples is because she got adopted after what happens to the twins in the beginning of the story. So now maybe he's trying to find her/punishing people like the couple who adopted her. I guess I'll find out if this is true. Either way loving this manga so far!
