I don’t know why I feel like pointing this out, but I find it interesting how many of the novels I’ve read within the past year (2022-2023) that have alluded to Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky, namely the novels Anna Karenina and Crime and Punishment, respectively. It seems that these two novels are the novels to read in English literature, written by Russian authors. Interesting!

beetlejuice is why i’m here. i was expecting more talk on beetlejuice, but i get it…this is a geena davis memoir, not a beetlejuice commentary.

luckily, i do love geena and the movies that i have seen with her in it. what i love most about geena, is her commitment to women with her Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media. she is truly passionate, and intelligent at what she does!

i really love this woman! mostly because she’s an amazing actor and comedian, but i also love how she tells her stories 😌.
