i only started reading today and im so invested omfg this is so good

im really trying to focus and concentrate and be able to read this but i simply cant. i know its wonderful but i need to be in the right headspace. pushing this one back on the shelf, but not for long

a woman struggling with an eating disorder and mommy issues in the most fucked up way possible. some political conflict (israel/palestine) laced throughout the story. ive been reading and sipping red wine for 3 hours straight and ive been enjoying it. what does this say about me? because i could never recommend this lightly to a friend. to be able to enjoy this book, there must be some unresolved terror inside you

this book is so good but so triggering (disordered eating)

i’m only just starting to read this now, i’ll probably be reading all day. i love mentally ill women with a superiority complex who live on self pity. there’s a woman like that inside me somewhere and she loves this book already
