Not impressed by the MC. At all.

chapter 29 - it got better. She's still whiney and annoying but the story is more enticing.

chapter 13, and the mc is dumb af. For someone constantly proclaiming that she can see through manipulations, she has absolutely zero sense of self-preservation.

So far, so totally disappointed. The writing seems armature-ish, the characters are two-dimensional and any attempt to get the audience to relate to any of the characters seems, to me, insincere and flat. At mid-book the story seems centered around Vlad and Leila doing it, and her feelings and his arrogance and control complexes. Any story line or plot gets lost in their "passion." Hoping it gets better.
