This is really boring so far. The characters are bored but not nearly as bored as I am. I usually fly through these books and have loved them up to this point (okay... I didn’t love the last one). But I am struggling here. There isn’t much of an over arching story going on and I am left feeling like the author is continuing this series less because she has somewhere she is going... sigh

Huh, I don't know why I didn't expect the turn that happened in the last chapter. But I didn't. Nice surprise. Not sure what I think about the whole angle with Daniel, though.

Haven't made any more progress because I am hating Holly in this book. I may not finish.

Hating this whole shadow story line. Holly is not stupid but is acting it. Have been struggling to get past this point for months because it's not well done.

I just finished Fangs for the Memories.

I just finished White Colander Crime (A Vintage Kitchen Mystery Book 5).

I've been listening to the audiobooks up until now. Sentences are a bit chewy. Good overall so far.

I just finished Killer Jam (A Dewberry Farm Mystery) and gave it 4 stars.

Cute series with some of my favorite things in fiction: ghosts, cats, books and mysteries. Well written with an interesting mystery. As usual, I really enjoyed the "solving a mystery from the past" aspect of the plot. Will definitely read more.

Apparently the goodreads app decided to eat my update. long story short: Meh. I am sick of reading how amazing Aelin is when she acts like a spoilt, unreasonable, selfish, self righteous ass. Chaol is suddenly the villain. Everyone is in love with Aelin and she does no wrong. Not sure I'll finish.
