The thing about reading fiction based off of Greek mythology is that there are few surprises. That doesn't make the book boring in the least (in fact, its wonderful) but it does remove a bit of the suspense and impact of the plot twists. I love the POV of Circe, its uncommon, refreshing, and delightful.
