Interesting commentary on the proliferation of tax havens and fragmentation of countries into special economic zones with various purposes. Saw this author attending a conference and became interested in his work.

Great sci fi on cloning

Interesting conceptually and so far ahead of its time on many things including the internet, ultra-liberalism / anarcho capitalism, and many technological concepts. Most interesting - franchulates. Reminds me of the extraterritoriality seen in Shadowrun. Additionally, the extreme end of a similar trend we are seeing now with the emergence of many different small ‘countries’ or special economic zones.
