Foreward says they have taught "critical thinking" for years. They sell low-quality educational material on this subject for children (who cannot tell the quality of the materials for themselves and who evidently lack family members with the faculty who could simply have taught them directly).

Is this why there's no "About the Author" section? Probably.

Book lacks an about the author and index. Seems to be all over the place in a way that is malformed for a primer, meaning that it seems to go deep in a very narrow way rather than providing comprehensive surface level coverage. In this way it accomplishes neither what a primer would nor what a deep dive topical book would.

Ab editor should have caught this.

I don't know why this feels so familiar but it feels like I've read it already.

I've really neglected goodreads as I've become more active in my private cognitive life. I've read a lot of books that I just didn't bother to input here. I'm probably going to move to a private page to do this instead in the near future.

I've been reading voraciously for months but I haven't finished any books and lately I read very little of any given book. In essence, I'm building a synopticon but it's going slowly. I felt compelled to provide some form of account for the time without an update.
